Advertising Account Executive (03 Magazine) - Christchurch

After an exciting rebrand in late 2022, 03 Magazine (formerly Style) is on the lookout for a sales superstar to become part of our team and help grow our well-loved, well-recognised and well-respected publication in the right direction!

Part of New Zealand’s largest independent media company Allied Press, 03 is a high-quality free lifestyle magazine with a focus on the south but universal appeal, and an extensive South Island-wise distribution, making it unique in the market.

While our HQ is in Christchurch, our client base is national, so this role could work for someone based locally or even in Auckland – if you’re passionate, proactive and connected with relevant sales experience, get in touch!

You will be:

·           Proven salesperson – brining expertise and intelligence from previous roles, experience from within a publishing environment would be beneficial

·           Confident self-starter – building on an established client base

·           Personable and engaging – building long-term relationships with direct clients and agencies

·           Creative – thinking out of the box to solution sell

·           Marketing savvy – across current advertising trends and insights

·           Connected –know what’s happening and who is contact

·           Deadline driven and unflappable – working within production schedules and efficiently under pressure

·           Organised and flexible – planning skills are essential, as is expecting the unexpected

·           Determined – to succeed and work to targets and budgets

·           Team player – working with the team to grow the success of this magazine AND have a sense of humour!
