Graphic Designer - Cromwell (Part-time permanent)

Are you a graphic designer who would relish the opportunity to have a major input into the design, layout and content of Cromwell’s most popular weekly publication?

The Cromwell Bulletin has an exciting opportunity for a part time Graphic Designer (20-30 hours per week) to join our team based in Cromwell.

Allied Press Limited employs over 450 people on a permanent basis across our 15 sites in the South Island.  We operate across multiple media platforms (print, on-line, digital) delivering news, information and entertainment through our various regional and city publications, including the Cromwell Bulletin.

The ideal applicant will have a sound background in Computer Design packages.

The role will require you to assist in the design of advertisements and design, production and distribution of the Cromwell Bulletin on a weekly basis.

The successful candidate will:

·            Have artistic design skills and an eye for detail

·            Be fluent in English and have excellent spelling

·            Be able to work to deadlines

·            Have a friendly, outgoing and fun personality

·            Live in the local area

·            The ability to work extended hours when required
