Marketing Specialist - Dunedin (FT Permanent)

About the Role:

Reporting to the Commercial Manager and working collaboratively with our sales, editorial and creative teams you will be responsible for planning and coordinating our marketing campaigns and events.  Your focus will be to promote new and existing products and services to current and potential advertising customers across our major print publications and digital platforms, including the Otago Daily Times, odt.co.nz, The Star and other targeted publications.

We are looking for someone who is highly motivated, enthusiastic and inclusive, with a passion for exploring innovative marketing opportunities.

This position is based in our Dunedin office and a valid driver’s licence is required.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:

Ideally you will have two years of experience in a marketing role, as well as marketing or communications related qualification.

Creative – we need someone to constantly deliver fresh ideas and keep on top of current trends.

Enthusiastic, positive, and proactive – working with a team of like-minded people.

Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
