Payroll Officer (30-40 hours) - Dunedin

We are currently looking for an experienced payroll officer to join our Payroll and HR team based in Dunedin for 30-40 hours per week.

You may be a payroll administrator looking to take your next career step or an experienced practitioner looking for a change and something new to work on.  Experience preparing and processing larger payrolls will be helpful but not essential.  You will enjoy working with and supporting a wide range of employees across our business.

Ideally you will have experience with Datapay (although not essential), and be confident navigating your way through a Collective Employment Agreement.  Our payroll team processes weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls for approximately 870 employees. We are keen to progress in-house projects to streamline our pay cycles, so an eye for process improvements would be an advantage.

What we offer:

  • Competitive pay rates based on experience
  • Flexible working hours
  • Medical insurance, EAP and other benefits
  • Friendly supportive team
  • Convenient CBD location
  • A commitment to professional development

We operate an inclusive team model where your ideas and contributions are encouraged and valued.  Our aim is to further strengthen and streamline our payroll service and continue to provide exceptional client service.
