Distribution Assistant - Dunedin (Full Time Permanent)

About the role:

We’re currently seeking a proactive and organised Distribution Assistant to support our busy distribution and circulation teams.  Reporting to the Distribution and Customer Services Manager you’ll play a key part in ensuring the smooth delivery of our publications.  You’ll support our internal teams and external contractors by handling administrative processes and responding to customer and circulation enquiries with professionalism and care.

 Some Key Responsibilities include:

  • Perform a range of administrative duties including maintaining distribution manuals, managing contracts, and coordinating delivery routes
  • Collaborate closely with the circulation team, delivery staff, contractors, and customer service representatives
  • Respond to internal and external communications with clarity, efficiency, and a high standard of customer service
  • Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records to support smooth distribution operations

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:

  • A strong focus on accuracy, professionalism, and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential
  •  A high level of self-motivation, strong team work ethic, and can work to deadlines
  • Confident in the use of M365 Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
