HR Advisor / Generalist (Full-time permanent)

Are you looking for your next career move in HR? 

We have a key full-time permanent role available for an HR Advisor/Generalist to support Allied Press managers and staff across a wide variety of HR activities.   

You are likely to have already been working as an Advisor but looking to stretch your wings by working in a larger and/or more complex business.  We are focused on supporting our managers and staff to grow their capability so you will need to be comfortable designing and delivering training initiatives alongside core HR functions. 

You will have a good understanding of New Zealand Employment Legislation and be able to provide clear guidance and support to managers across disciplines.  Some experience of working with Collective Employment Agreements would be advantageous.  You will work as part of a wider team of HR practitioners to deliver complementary professional services to our diverse workforce. 

Allied Press is locally owned media company. We operate across multiple media platforms (print, on-line, digital) delivering news, information and entertainment through our various publications, proudly publishing the Otago Daily Times, The Star, odt.co.nz as well as host of other publications and products over the South Island.
